How it’s done:

Free-range rotisserie chicken cooked over fire. Sourced from Western France ("Nature and Respect") and supplied by renowned butcher Aubrey Allen, our chickens are brined for 24 hours, rubbed in a special blend of herbs and spices and then cooked on a spit over fire. We have spent some time perfecting what we believe is the ultimate rotisserie chicken and we hope that you agree!

For the non-meat eaters we have you covered too with our signature grilled aubergine. Alongside these, we have a range of salads, sides, sauces and sweet treats that are all freshly made in house.

We have a changing specials menu that reflects the best of in season produce and can be added as an option to any of our combo meal deals.

This can all be enjoyed with one of our great selection of wines or draught beer from Signature Brew.

The Inspo (behind the scenes):

Ever since I was little, I’ve been fascinated by food – it has, and still does, consume much of my daily thinking time… Including when I used to sit in an office from 9 to 5.

The lock down hiatus however gave me time to weigh up, think (and think some more!) about what motivates and inspires me…

So, my thoughts were along the lines of a neighbourhood rotisserie chicken shop in London, this type of joint can be found in Sydney where I lived for the majority of my 20s. Memories of time spent in France also sprang to mind. A local, neighbourhood rotisserie chicken shop with a range of fresh and tasty sides that will allow you to customise your meal to be as healthy (or unhealthy!) as you like … The Roost concept was formed!

A place – or a Roost, down your road, that you can pop along to, grab a tasty chicken or some delicious salads, made with the same care that some of you (!) may take when cooking at home.

To eat and enjoy, by yourself or with friends, guilt-free (for the wallet and waistline) and to take back to your Roost – wherever and whatever that may be.
